I have just bought a Sony lapel stereo mic that I was hoping would fit straight into the Iphone via a 3.5mm jack. It does fit but just doesnt work….The iphone wont accept it. Does this Griffin stereo mike work with the iphone so that I can record stereo audio onto the iphone and then import it onto final cut pro7HD.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hi. I have a new iPod touch with voice memo facility. Am wantinh to record music/drumming classes and am hoping there is a mic out there that can handle a powerful input. I have tried a zoom recorder which can handle the load but I find it functionally difficult and impractical. Hope you can help. Thanks. Liz
